Preparation for Community Solar Application Opening, Tomorrow 11/1/22, and File Size Limitations

< Back to Vendor Updates

The ability to submit Part I applications for the Traditional Community Solar (“TCS”) category, and Part I applications for community solar projects in the Equity Eligible Contractors (“EEC”) and Public Schools categories opens in the Program portal tomorrow, November 1, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. Central Time.
REMINDER – For a project to be considered submitted for review and evaluation, a Part I submitted project must also be placed into a batch and then that batch submitted. The application date will be based on the batch submission date. An email that provides instruction for application fee payment for each batch will be sent within 24 hours of batch submittal. Batch fees must be paid within 10 business days.
File Limitations Clarification
File Number Limitation – There is no limitation on the number of files that an Approved Vendor can upload for Traditional Community Solar scoring documentation (located in Step 8 of the TCS application).
File Size Limitation – For Traditional Community Solar scoring documentation (located in Step 8 of the TCS application) there is a file size maximum of 100 MB per file. This was incorrectly noted in both the TCS Clarifications #2 documentation released October 26, 2022, and during the TCS webinar that took place on October 24, 2022.
The Program Administrator apologizes for the confusion on this item. Please keep in mind that .doc, .docx, .pdf, .jpg, and .jpeg are the only file types permitted for upload to this section of the Traditional Community Solar application.
